Cuddy wakes at 5:00 a.m. to find her daughter is ill with a temperature. Marina, the nanny, arrives to take care of baby Rachel. Lucas arrives home from a stakeout of a client having asked House to stakeout with him for advice on the case. Cuddy has an important meeting today with the board and with the hospital’s insurance carrier, and needs to work on her proposal before the meetings begin. Lucas gets amorous with Cuddy, her blackberry rings with an emergency call from House and she ignores it. After a disappointing quickie session which doesn’t go well, Lucas apologizes and Cuddy heads to the hospital, late for work.

Cuddy arrives at the hospital only to be bombarded with requests from employees, no doubt a typical senario for her work day. House walks with Cuddy, telling her about his stakeout with Lucas. Cuddy discovers Lucas told House they have sex every morning. House bet Lucas that a phone call that morning from House would stop their quickie. House tells Cuddy about needing the O.R. for his patient soon. Cuddy brushes House off.

Cuddy’s 8:30 meeting with the insurance provider is delayed when she must deal with Dr. Hourani at the O.R., who complains to Cuddy that House turned up the air conditioning in the operating room to hurry his surgery up so House’s patient can go to surgery sooner. Cuddy tella Dr. Hourani she twill deal with House. Cuddy arrives late for her meeting with insurance executive Eli Morgan. The contract has been in negotiations for eight months and Cuddy has had it. Morgan offers 4% coverage while Cuddy insists on 12% coverage. Cuddy threatens Morgan with a press conference at 3:00 p.m. and a termination their contract with his company if they do not meet the hospital’s demands. Morgan rejects Cuddy’s proposal and walks out.

Cuddy faces the board who tell Cuddy the decision is hers but also her responsibility if the contract is not renewed. Cuddy takes a deep breath and continues with her day. Taub and Thirteen tell House their patient’s heart rate is decreasing. Cuddy is one step ahead of House and tells him not to infect his patient with malaria for a cure.

Dr. Thomas confronts Cuddy, telling her he is upset listening to Dr. Hourani’s complaints. Thomas blames Cuddy for coddling House, who lured Chase away from the doctor’s surgery team. Thomas calls her a bitch under his breath. When a doctor does not show up for clinic work, Cuddy covers. A patient with cancer asks Cuddy for a prescription for breast milk because he’s read it has cancer-fighting qualities. When Cuddy turns him down he calls her a bitch. A lawyer is waiting in Cuddy’s office to confront her about his client. The patient’s thumb was cut off at his construction job and he chose not to have it re-attached because his insurance would not cover the cost. Chase re-attached it against the man’s wishes. Now both the client and the insurance company do not want to pay the cost for the operation. Cuddy feels for the patient going bankrupt but tells the lawyer the hospital will fight their lawsuit.

Cuddy discovers a discrepancy with pharmacy ephedrine and calls in Gail, the pharmacy technician. Gail cries telling Cuddy she was trying to lose weight for her husband. Cuddy tells Gail she will not notify the DEA but must fire Gail for forging the pharmacy order. At lunch Wilson suggests to Cuddy she discuss the insurance problems with House, a master manipulator who always has the right answers to problems. House is sitting in Cuddy’s chair when she arrives at her office. House wants to give his patient malaria because it is the cheapest way to deliver hyperthermia. Cuddy wonders if this method is yet another House bet. House suggests the real bet is Cuddy rejecting the insurance company’s offer.

Cuddy is having problems reaching her nanny to see how her sick baby is doing. Cuddy finds out Lucas has turned off the phone ringer at home and taken the nanny’s cell phone instead of his by accident. Cuddy confronts the CEO of the insurance company during his expensive lunch. She asks him to reconsider the hospital’s proposal. The CEO won’t give an inch. Back at the hospital the hospital pharmacist tells Cuddy Gail has stolen ten cases of ephedrine. Cuddy realizes Gail has been selling the meds to meth dealers and asks him to call Gail back to the hospital.

Insurance executive Eli Morgan shows up in Cuddy’s office and offers her 8% instead of the original 4% on the contract. Cuddy has to make up her mind by 3:00 p.m. She sits in the stairwell trying to decide what to do next. House meets Cuddy as she leaves the stairwell. Cuddy asks for House’s advice on the insurance percentage. House wonders why she would put her job on the line for this and Cuddy remarks he would do the same thing.

Foreman tells the team they have a liver transplant for their patient. House does not want to use Dr. Hourani for the surgery, instead he wants to use Chase to prove a point to Dr. Hourani that Chase is the department’s best surgeon. Cuddy throws up her hands. Cuddy is paged to the pre-op area where the rest of the team is trying to stop a fistfight between Chase and Dr. Thomas. Cuddy calls them both to her office, but must first confront Gail. Cuddy finds out Gail is no longer crying instead threatening to bring down Cuddy, revealing House’s purchase of drugs from the pharmacy and the past relationship between House and Cuddy.

Cuddy has reached her limit and sits in her car in the hospital garage. House knocks his cane on her passenger door. Cuddy thought the insurance company was bluffing. House listens, then tells her he knows she won’t quit because the hospital means so much to her. House tells Cuddy Gail is a sociopath, giving Cuddy an idea. Cuddy talks to Gail, telling her she knows deep down she is a good person and did not mean to steal. Gail rails against Cuddy, admitting to stealing medicine since she was hired and threatening to bring her down with her if Cuddy reports her to the DEA. Cuddy takes a silk flower Lucas gave her from her desk, having recorded everything Gail just said, and tells nurse Regina to pass it on to the DEA.

As it hits 3:00 p.m., Cuddy prepares to go to the board and submit her resignation. Eli Morgan comes into her office, calling her “you bitch” in an admiring tone, then hands Cuddy a contract for 12% insurance coverage. Cuddy is elated and informs the staff and board. Cuddy sees the first installment of a check for the thumb replacement patient and rips up the check.

That night Cuddy snuggles in bed with her daughter Rachel as she sleeps, with Lucas lying beside her, feeling like the world is a little better now. The phone rings and Lucas asks Cuddy if she is going to answer it.

House and the team discuss Daryl’s injuries and bizarre actions, watching the video tape of the incident. House attributes the outburst to steroid rage, but tests reveal he is clean. The team discovers Daryl injects his sore ankles with lidocane every game. Foreman suggests repeated head trauma might lead to damage at the base of the brain leading to the pituitary gland, creating excess hormones causing the rage. House has Taub test Daryl for elevated GNRH in the blood. Daryl’s mother tells Taub Daryl must be able to play in Saturday’s game because talent scouts will be there.

Wilson becomes angry with House when he wakes to find House taking a bath in Wilson’s bathroom. Wilson tells House to use his own bathroom but House says there is no tub in that bathroom and his leg is hurting. House examines a soldier going back to the middle east for a fourth deployment, trying to get out of the tour on a medical discharge because his wife is pregnant. House chides the soldier asking him why he didn’t to to Canada or shoot himself in the foot to avoid deployment?

Tests reveal Daryl’s pituitary is normal but the GNRH is high, indicating steroid use. Daryl denies steroid use and his heart begins to race. House suspects Daryl has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. House orders the team to put Daryl through a treadmill stress test.

House intercepts a call from Foreman’s brother Marcus who is asking for a ride after being released from jail. House knows Foreman is avoiding his brother, so he arranges a ride for Marcus. House decides to hire Marcus as his assistant, knowing it will irritate Foreman, who doesn’t want his brother to work there.

Wilson returns home to find an opossum has gotten into the bathroom and made a mess. Wilson suspects House of retaliation but House says he didn’t do it. Wilson tells House he thinks the real reason House hired Marcus was to help the brothers connect again. House denies he is helping anyone. Chase tells House Daryl’s heartrate never went over 150 on the treadmill and did not induce heart problems. House decides an injection of a vasodilator will do the trick instead.

House finds Daryl packing up to leave the hospital. House notices the palms of Daryl’s hands are turning white. Taub, Thirteen and Chase offer suggestions regarding the symptom, but Foreman thinks Lymphoma fits the symptoms. House orders an ethanol drip to test for Lymphoma or Takayasu. If Daryl becomes itchy, the symptoms indicate Lymphoma and they must remove his spleen. If it is Takayasu, Daryl will lose his radial pulse, indicating steroids for his treatment. Marcus is sent by House to spy on Foreman and Thirteen while they work with Daryl.

The soldier comes back to the hospital with an injured foot. House is shocked to see the soldier has shot himself and one of his toes may need to be amputated. House prescribes antibiotics and tells the soldier he can still be sent back into active duty with nine toes. House decides to take a bath in Wilson’s bathroom to ease the pain in his leg. As House uses the safety rail to get out of the tub it comes off the wall and he falls, gashing his face. Wilson looks perplexed as House confronts him, telling him this is war over the bathroom.

Daryl becomes itchy from the test, indicating Lymphoma. As Chase removes Daryl’s spleen in the operating room he shows Foreman the liver is inflamed. They are wrong about Lymphoma. Foreman tells the team it is not Lymphoma and the team suggests other possible diseases relating to Daryl’s symptoms. House gets the scoop on Foreman’s childhood from Marcus and reveals the news to the team, upsetting Foreman. Foreman tells House Daryl’s blood is clotting, noting with the cold football weather he must have cryoglobulinemia.

House asks Marcus about his jail time. Marcus tells House it is his fault Foreman got in trouble with the law and that Foreman had spent years trying to never disappoint his mother again. House discovers Foreman’s mother died recently and Foreman did not tell anyone on the team about her death. House realizes Wilson did not loosen the safety rail in the bathroom because they did not have the right wrench to loosen it. House and Wilson stay up most of the night to surprise the intruder. Suddenly the overhead sprinklers turn on, soaking them and the apartment. Wilson concedes House would never do anything to harm the big screen TV. House and Wilson decide someone is pranking them.

Daryl decides he must leave to go to the football game even if it means he could die on the field. House reveals to the team that Foreman’s mother died recently. Marcus told House not to upset Foreman by mentioning his mother’s death and quits his job. Foreman accompanies Daryl to the game. Daryl is feeling very ill. Realizing he cannot see, Daryl decides he must go back to the hospital.

Foreman visits his brother Marcus at his halfway house. Foreman asks Marcus to stay with him because family is important. The brothers bond and Marcus asks Foreman’s forgiveness for his past drug use. House notices Daryl did not lose much weight in the hospital, someone his size should have lost more weight. Chase thinks Daryl is creating antibodies to combat cancer, called paraneoplasitc syndrome. House decides Daryl’s dark skin is masking a melanoma, House finds the melanoma between his toes. Treatment will make Daryl well again but he worries what he will do without the scout opportunities football gave him.

House and Wilson go to lunch in the cafeteria. House suddenly trips, spilling his lunch tray. Lucas comes face to face with House and admits to tripping House and pranking he and Wilson in retaliation for buying the condo Cuddy wanted to buy. Cuddy talks to Lucas about pranking House and Wilson and encourages him to ease up on it since it was just a condo she lost.

House sees the soldier being wheeled out of the hospital. Apparently the soldier did not take antibiotics so his foot would become infected and he would not have to go back to war. House is stunned to see the soldier’s foot has been amputated.

Wilson finds House asleep on his couch in his office. Wilson wants to know who House is avoiding by staying in Wilson’s office. House tells Wilson he is avoiding Wibberly, a fellow student from med school. House switched their finals paper to get a better grade from the teacher. Wilson discovers in treatment House was required to write a letter of apology to someone he hurt so he sent Wibberly a letter. Wibberly is interested in meeting with House, who can’t be bothered with him.

Valerie’s co-worker Russ confronts Valerie in her hospital room, accusing her of an affair with him and of drugging him at the meeting so he would be fired. Valerie’s husband is startled by this news and Thirteen gets a bad vibe from Valerie.

The team thinks Russ poisoned Valerie but Thirteen disagrees. Foreman orders Thirteen to go ahead with the beta-blockers prescribed by House. House is seen in Cuddy’s office talking on his cell phone to the team while defacing Cuddy’s framed pictures of her boyfriend Lucas. Wibberly walks into the office, telling House Wilson told him he’d be there. While having coffee together House learns that Wibberly never became a doctor, his switch of papers led to Wibberly failing his final and dropping out of med school. Wibberly tells House he is a grocery bagger, making House feel even guilter than before.

Thirteen suggests Valerie undergo an MRI before receiving the beta-blockers. Thirteen shows Foreman the MRI reveals Valerie is not using the emotional part of her brain, revealing she is a psychopath. House, Thirteen and Foreman confront Valerie who pretends she is innocent but then admits she poisoned Russ to steal his ideas for work. Valerie admits she only married her husband for his money. Thirteen is appalled by her lack of conscience.

House knows there must be a connection between the psychopath and cardiac arrhythmia yet psychopathy is genetic and not a symptom. Foreman thinks Tertiary syphilis fits the symptoms. House tells Thirteen he is ruling out Wilson and Hashimoto’s diseases. Foreman tells House he needs to discipline Thirteen for not following his orders but House tells Foreman that is his job as her supervisor. Cuddy confronts House about her damaged photos, letting him know he cut up the last photo her father took of her. House feels remorse, a new feeling for him.

House, feeling guilty, decides to visit Wibberly at home. He discovers Wibberly is packing up his house, his bills for his father’s health care means he can’t pay his mortgage. Thirteen and Taub test Valerie for syphilis. Valerie threatens Thirteen if she tells her husband the truth about her she will have Thirteen fired. Thirteen moves Valerie’s arm to administer a test and Valerie’s arm is broken.

Tests reveal Valerie’s bones are brittle. Syphilis is ruled out so Foreman is leaning towards lymphoma. House orders radiotherapy treatment. House reprimands Thirteen and Foreman who continue to argue at work since they have broken up. Thirteen suggests to Valerie’s husband he check on her landscaping class to see if they used toxins, which will reveal Valerie was lying to her husband about attending classes. As House administers a radiotherapy session, Valerie goads him about being like her, without a conscience. When Valerie’s husband confronts her about her class, Valerie makes up another lie to cover her tracks. Valerie asks Cuddy to fire Thirteen or she will sue the hospital. Cuddy is not impressed with the threat but tells Valerie Thirteen is off Valerie’s case to placate her. Valerie calls the medical board and reports Thirteen. Thirteen confronts Valerie in front of her husband and Foreman, who tells Thirteen to leave the room. After a heated argument Foreman appologizes to Thirteen for firing her and hopes they can work together again.

After being paged Foreman rushes to Valerie’s room and finds her covered in blood. Valerie’s liver is failing and blood is spilling into her esophagus, she is rushed to the operating room. The team decides Valerie needs a liver transplant but cannot provide one without a diagnosis.

Wilson finds House writing a check to cover Wibberly’s mortgage. Wilson hammers House about apologizing to Cuddy, who was in love with House for years but instead House treated her badly. Wilson thinks it is easier for House to be kind to a stranger than to apologize to Cuddy, someone he really cares about.

Thirteen finds out Valerie’s estranged sister has been tested for a liver transplant. Thirteen discovers Valerie changed in personality during puberty after a horrific childhood with an abusive father. Thirteen realizes Valerie’s raw food diet include nuts which are high in copper and have awakened the dormant symptoms of Wilson’s disease in her. House and Thirteen test nail polish remover on Valerie’s finger and her nail turns blue, proving Valerie cannot process copper. House starts Valerie on Chelation therapy. Thirteen tells Valerie’s husband she may change with the therapy but chances are she will remain uncaring and continue to use him for his money. Valerie’s husband thinks his love is enough for the both of them.

House visits Wibberly to give him a check face-to-face. Wibberly refuses the check, telling House he got an A+ on the paper and didn’t drop out of med school, instead he became an orthopedic surgeon but ruined his career with a gambling problem. Wibberly thought House would still be a bastard and is surprised by his generosity, but says no to the check.

Valerie’s health improves with treatment and she will eventually be ready for a liver transplant. Thirteen watches as Valerie’s husband sits by her side but Valerie rejects him to drive him away from the marriage, as he walks away she begins to cry. Thirteen realizes Valerie is feeling remorse and her personality has changed for the good from the treatment. Thirteen seeks out Foreman to mend their relationship, helping him decipher Taub’s written notes for Foreman’s report.

House visits Cuddy’s office to apologize to her, but finds her talking with Lucas and leaves. House visits Wibberly’s home, dropping the check he wrote through the mail slot to help Wibberly pay his mortgage.

House meets with the team to discuss Mickey’s case. After discussing the symptoms House decides Mickey has loud noise-induced vertigo and asks the team to run a hearing test on him. House suspects Mickey and his associate are drug dealers and wonders if his work activities are causing his problems. During a casual work conversation Foreman finds out Thirteen and Taub make more money than he does. Thinking he deserves more money than the rest of the team as their supervisor, Foreman is determined to confront Cuddy about the issue.

Wilson is talking with his new neighbor Nora at his condo building. Wilson asks Nora out and she suggests he bring along House. To Wilson’s dismay Nora thinks House and Wilson are a gay couple. As Taub and Foreman test Mickey’s hearing he convulses. House and the team discuss Mickey’s case and decide he has high blood pressure. Thirteen suggests they test his carotid arteries for blockage. Mickey decides to get himself discharged because a big drug deal is going down soon. Mickey will not tell the team where he lives or anything about his personal history. When his artery tests come back negative, House tells Thirteen and Chase to follow Mickey to see where he lives. House believes Mickey is suffering from toxic exposure and a survey of his home may provide clues in the case.

Mickey shakes Thirteen as she and Chase are pulled over after Thirteen runs a red light while chasing Mickey. Eddie brings Mickey back to the hospital emergency room after Mickey develops a high fever. House discusses Mickey’s illness with Eddie and talks in code about their illegal profession in order to get information from Eddie to help Mickey. House meets Nora in the lobby of their condo complex. As House tells Nora he and Wilson aren’t gay, a giant framed picture of the musical “A Chorus Line” arrives for House and Wilson. House pretends to be gay to get close to Nora. Wilson confronts House about his method of getting close to Nora. House admits he likes Nora and will compete with Wilson for her attention. Eddie agrees to take Thirteen to the dry cleaners where Mickey has been staying, a front for drug activity, to test the cocaine they are selling which might show what is making Mickey ill.

After Foreman finds out Chase makes more than him as well, Foreman tells Cuddy he is making less than the team and wants a raise. Cuddy denies him a raise. Foreman admits to Taub he has no real job offer, he was pretending in order to change Cuddy’s mind. Foreman tells Taub after this case, he plans to leave his job. Thirteen, Taub and Chase are concerned about Foreman’s news. They discuss Foreman’s dilema and decide they may have gone too far pranking Foreman about making more money than he does. Chase feels guilty and suggests they come clean to Foreman.

The team does a lumbar puncture on Mickey’s back for more tests. Mickey confesses to House that he has been taking beta-blocker pills for his nerves. House orders an MRI of Mickey’s adrenal glands to check for Pheochromocytoma. Wilson arrives home at the condo to find Nora giving House a shoulder massage. They offer Wilson some chinese food and wine. Wilson thinks a moment then agrees to join in, ruining House’s plans with Nora.

House hears voices from the surveillance bug he placed in Mickey’s room. Realizing there is a second surveillance bug in place in the hospital room, House visits Mickey. House tells Mickey he knows he is an undercover cop. Mickey admits he has been undercover for 16 months to bust the drug gang with a major drug deal in the next 24 hours. Mickey begs House not to reveal anything to Eddie so he can work the cocaine drug bust.

House and Nora are at dinner in a fine dining restaurant. House pretends to need Nora’s shoulder to lean on because as he has told her, his relationship with Wilson is not going well. Wilson shows up and proceeds to get on one knee announcing to the entire restaurant his marriage proposal to House. Stunned but impressed by Wilson’s ingenuity, House is speechless as Nora decides to leave the two love birds alone.

Mickey has a GI infarction from a clot in his artery and starts throwing up blood. Thirteen, Chase and Taub runs tests on the cocaine Thirteen brought back from the dry cleaners. Chase tells the team that Mickey has aneurysms in his lungs. They start him on antifungal medicine in case the problem is caused by a fungus. Mickey and Eddie share some time together. Eddie tells Mickey he is his friend but Mickey lets Eddie walk into the drug bust anyway.

A guilty Taub, Chase and Thirteen visit Cuddy and ask that she take part of their salary to boost Foreman’s so he doesn’t leave his job. Cuddy tells them she has no idea what they are talking about. As they leave Cuddy’s office a smiling Foreman lets them know they have been pranked by him.

House asks Nora to come to his office. House confesses to Nora that he was only pretending to be gay to get her in bed. House tells Nora she should go out with Wilson and that he is a good guy. Nora leaves disgusted by House’s admission. House has a realization that Mickey’s aneurysms are inflammatory not fungal. Mickey’s condition deteriorates as House tells him he has Hughes-Stovin, an untreatable autoimmune disease. When Mickey realizes he is going to die soon he asks to call his wife. Mickey’s wife lays in bed with Mickey as he is dying. Eddie and the rest of the drug gang are busted by the cops. Mickey dies as his wife is by his side.

House compliments Foreman on his success pranking the rest of the team. House and Wilson sit on the recliners House ordered with the huge “A Chorus Line” poster staring them in the face. Wilson hates the recliners and tells House he will sing from “A Chorus Line” until he gets rid of them. As Wilson sings to torture House, a disgruntled House grimaces in pain from the show tunes.

At the hospital a CT scan shows no sign of a stroke. Wilson notices a cold sore on Tucker’s young girlfriend Ashley lip, which may have infected Tucker. Wilson plans to test Tucker for an infection in his spine then treat him with acyclovir. Wilson meets with House and the team, telling them he had a “House” moment of clarity with Tucker’s case. House tells Wilson Tucker has cancer and bets him $100 his is the correct diagnosis.

Tucker has a tingling sensation in his foot and asks Wilson about it. Tucker asks Wilson to call his estranged daughter Emily and ask her to visit him. Cuddy asks Wilson if she can call his realtor ex-wife to find a new house. Cuddy announces to Wilson she and Lucas are moving in together. Wilson confronts Cuddy saying she is looking for Wilson’s approval, and in the end, House’s approval of her relationship. Wilson tells House about Cuddy’s move in with Lucas. Cuddy applies for a loft but her offer is rejected.

Tucker’s ex-wife Melissa and daughter Emily arrive at the hospital. As Tucker’s ex, current girlfriend and daughter visit, Wilson comments on Tucker’s severe coughing. Tucker goes into cardiac arrest and Wilson calls for a crash cart. Wilson turns to the team for advice on Tucker. Thirteen suggests the symptoms point to a fungal infection and that surgery is needed. Wilson finds House hiding from Cuddy in Wilson’s patient’s bathroom. House tells Wilson he is wrong about the fungal infection and that Tucker has cancer. During Tucker’s surgery Chase finds pneumonia but no fungal infection. House shows Wilson test results from the surgery showing Tucker has a small area of cancer in his brain.

Wilson must give Tucker chemotherapy directly to the brain, requiring a shunt be put in place. Wilson tells Tucker his odds are 90% recovery. Tucker’s ex-wife takes over decision making in case Tucker is incapacitated, upsetting Tucker’s girlfriend. Tucker realizes he can’t move his fingers, which tells Wilson Tucker is showing a resistance to a second round of chemo. House warns Wilson of a second round of chemo. After chemo treatment Tucker is cancer free but the chemo treatment shows signs of destroying his liver, requiring a liver transplant.

House comes to Tucker’s bedside and tells Wilson there is a motorcycle accident victim who can be a liver donor. Wilson and House visit the donor’s sister who resists their request. Wilson gets a phone call telling him the donor’s liver is no longer viable. Wilson decides to donate a portion of his liver to Tucker. Both House and Cuddy advise Wilson not to be a donor. At home House tries to talk Wilson out of being a donor and Wilson gets angry, throwing House out of the apartment. Cuddy against her better judgement approves the transplant surgery.

The next day Wilson asks House to be there for the surgery and House says no, telling Wilson if Wilson dies he is alone in the world. As Wilson goes under anesthesia he sees House in the surgery observation room. House sits with Wilson as he recovers from surgery. Wilson visits Tucker who thanks Wilson for his donor liver. Tucker decides to go back to his girlfriend instead of his ex and daughter, disappointing Wilson. House tells Wilson Tucker is a self-important jerk and Wilson agrees his friends (including House) tend to be that way.

Wilson and House visit the loft Cuddy applied for. Wilson decides Cuddy hurt his friend House so Cuddy should be punished. Wilson calls his ex-wife and asks her to make an offer for him on the loft. As Wilson’s places the offer on the loft Cuddy covets, House smiles his approval.

Cuddy runs into House at work and gives him the Sidas case. House is acting very nice, which makes Cuddy suspicious. House hints at Thanksgiving, asking her what her plans are. Taub, Thirteen, Foreman and Chase meet with House to discuss the Sidas case. They note that Jimmy changed his career from a known scientist to courier, an odd choice for a genius. They suspect a diagnosis of TTP. House orders blood tests taken.

Foreman and Chase discuss the case. Foreman asks Chase about Cameron and Chase evades the conversation saying he is fine. The team meets with Jimmy who states he chose to be a courier because he can spend more time with his wife and kid, life is happier that way. Taub and Thirteen are given the task of tests and find TTP as they suspected.

Jimmy has an allergy so the doctors cannot treat him with plasmapherresis for TTP. House and the team agree that because of the allergy, the next step is to remove Jimmy’s spleen. House visits Wilson and tells him he is working on getting an invitation to Cuddy’s sister’s house for Thanksgiving. House plans to break up Cuddy and Lucas. Wilson warns him against drama at the Thanksgiving dinner and chooses not to help in the plot.

After the splenectomy, Chase meets with Jimmy and his wife to discuss when Jimmy can leave the hospital. Jimmy begins talking nonsense and mentioning colors. Chase realizes Jimmy is having a stroke and calls for help. The team meets with House to discuss Jimmy’s condition. Chase tells them Jimmy has no long term effects from the stroke. House asks the team what acts like TTP. House sends Taub and Chase to Jimmy’s house to investigate if possible toxins are present. They find a hidden Vodka bottle, pointing to alcohol problems. Taub invites Chase to Thanksgiving dinner and Chase declines, becoming irritated so many of the team are questioning him about Cameron. They find elaborate scientific notes on atoms and are surprised again how Jimmy can throw away his career.

House parries with Cuddy again, hinting for an invitation. Cuddy finally invites House to Thanksgiving dinner. House tells Wilson he got his invitation and his plan to break up Cuddy and Lucas is working. The team decides Jimmy’s symptoms point to liver failure. Taub and Thirteen are stuck on Thanksgiving day running tests to check Jimmy’s liver. House arrives at Cuddy’s sister’s house only to find that Cuddy, Lucas and her family are out of town. House is stunned and upset that Cuddy would dupe him.

Lucas arrives at home to find House has used his extra key to get into his apartment. House appears drunk and rambles about Cuddy. House tries to stand up and starts to fall, with Lucas catching him. House reveals to Lucas he is in love with Cuddy. House calls in sick for the day. The team thinks Jimmy may be in kidney failure and set him up for dialysis. Thirteen asks Chase about Cameron and Chase evades her questions. Cuddy visits House at home and asks him what he said to Lucas. Cuddy tells House she and Lucas broke up because of his conversation with Lucas and she will never have a relationship with House. When Wilson arrives home House is giddy telling him Lucas fell for his sob story and he succeeded in breaking up Cuddy and Lucas.

Jimmy completes his kidney dialysis and is feeling better. Jimmy coughs and mentions needing cough syrup. As Jimmy draws a scientific diagram his wife is impressed. House confronts Jimmy and tells him he is “Robo tripping” to dumb himself down, a term used for abuse of cough syrup, with a shot of alcohol to keep a lower level of brain damage from occurring. Jimmy admits his addiction to his wife and House. Suddenly Jimmy cannot feel anything in his legs and panics.

Taub and his wife have a conversation about his job with the team. Taub’s wife calls him a wimp for going back to grub work instead of running his own office. House talks to the team, getting suggestions for a diagnosis. House goads Chase saying he is not working as hard as the rest of the team. Chase stands up, walks over to House and punches House in the face, knocking him to the floor. As House staggers back to his feet Chase leaves. Taub asks House if he can take a phone photo of him beat up and House says why not.

Jimmy confides to House that life is easier if he is stoned. Jimmy tells House his IQ is 91 points above his wife’s IQ. If he isn’t stoned he finds it impossible to want to stay with her. Jimmy tells House his own genius moved him to suicide, jumping off a building twelve years ago and breaking three ribs. House realizes the ribs may never have healed and orders an MRI. The MRI reveals rib pieces that have split his spleen into sixteen pieces. Removing the spleen pieces will resolve his medical condition. Jimmy tells House his genius is a curse to him, recognizing House is a genius and can relate. House finds Jimmy some cough syrup to help him cope.

Chase finds House and apologizes for his injuries. House tells Chase he probably deserved it. They have a meeting of the minds with no charges against Chase. Cuddy visits House at home and asks about charges for the Chase incident. House tells Cuddy there are no charges, he fell over an ottoman and Chase helped him. Cuddy is dubious about House and Chase’s actions. House finds Cuddy at the hospital and offers tickets for her and her daughter to go to a petting zoo. Cuddy says no thanks. House knows Cuddy didn’t break up with Lucas. Cuddy meets Lucas at home and tells him House knows they didn’t break up.

Taub arrives at home and shows his wife the camera photo of House. Taub’s wife asks if Taub hit House and he says yes, he made him angry so he punched him out. Taub’s wife is suddenly impressed with Taub standing up to House.

As the team questions Hank and his wife, who also works in the porn industry, they find they lead a very clean lifestyle other than their profession. Hank’s muscles contract, causing pain. Foreman tells House he thinks its Cerebral vasculitis and House has him run tests.

House appears at Taub’s plastic surgery office and tries to get him involved in Hank’s case. Taub declines the job offer but suggests there may be a problem with Hank’s brain. House visits Thirteen at her home, drawing her into the case and hinting at coming back to the team. Thirteen declines as well and suggests Hank’s symptoms point to a multifocal diagnosis.

Foreman needs Cameron and Chase to help on the case. As they clean out their lockers he convinces them to help him since he is the only one left on the team to run tests. Hank is tested with UV light and as he is in the booth his nose starts bleeding profusely and his legs are covered in a rash. As the team reports their findings to House Cameron gets angry with House. House asks Cameron why she reacted to his suggestion to use antibiotics. House tells Cameron she is mad at him but Chase is responsible for what happened to Dibala. Chase and Hank talk about relationships. Chase gives Hank the antibiotics but Hank develops a fever in spite of the medicine he receives.

House shows up at Taub’s office pretending to be various patients on his daily roster. Taub tells House if Hank’s sinuses are clogged the antibiotics would not work. Chase drains Hank’s sinuses while House analyzes why Cameron is reacting the way she is. House tells Chase that Cameron is angry about House and his part in involving them in Dibala’s care and that it will not be possible for her to forgive killing a patient due to her medical ethics.

Foreman takes a turn at convincing Thirteen to rejoin the team. Wilson talks with Cuddy about her relationship with House. Cuddy talks with Lucas about House and they connect while solving any issues related to him.

As they work on Hank, Chase asks Cameron why she was able to forgive him and she tells him because he is sorry for what he did. Chase tells Cameron even though he is sorry for what he did he would do the same thing again given the opportunity to saves thousands of lives. Cameron is startled at Chase’s admission. Hank’s stomach bloats, showing signs of liver failure. Chase thinks that the inflammation could involve Hank’s bile ducts.

House hounds Thirteen at her gym about rejoining the team. Cameron tells Hank and his wife that his liver is failing and he will need a liver transplant. She tells Hank he must give up his profession because the health risks of his job will keep him from being approved for a new liver. Chase performs a ERCP test that shows worms are filling Hank’s liver, and gives Hank mebendazole pills.

After Hank coughs up fluid from his lungs Foreman concludes he has lymphoma. House sends faxes to Cameron and Taub to keep them in the loop and Cameron is upset about his remarks. As they leave Chase asks Cameron if she is angry with House. Chase discovers Cameron is angry about House and his part in involving them in Dibala’s care and Chase’s actions leading to Dibala’s death. Chase tells Cameron he is the one who is responsible not House.

When Hank begins chemo he starts to bleed in his urine and goes into cardiac arrest. House chooses bone marrow as the next step in tests but the team believes the test could kill Hank. House faxes an update to Taub and Thirteen. As Hank is prepared for his bone marrow procedure, Taub and Thirteen call in conference to talk to House and the team. They explain that Hank’s immune system began to attack him because he lived such a clean lifestyle, the worms he had kept his Chrohn’s disease at bay. Hank will be treated with a new set of worms and will recover.

Chase admits to Cameron that he wants to stay on House’s team. Cameron feels them pull apart. Cameron confronts House, and is angry that he almost let Hank die in order to get the team members back. Cameron tells House she loved him and that she still loves Chase. Cameron tells House he is ruined and now he has ruined Chase and there is no turning back for either of them. House watches Cameron leave the hospital.

House tells Wilson he succeeded in winning back the three the team members but lost Cameron. Thirteen delivers the prescription of worms to Hank as Foreman watches. Taub explains to his unhappy wife he is going back to work for the team. Cameron hugs Chase and leaves the apartment with suitcases packed. House seems sullen as he watches Cuddy and Lucas leave the hospital together.

Wilson gets ready for a weekend pharmacology conference. Part of House’s rehab is staying with Wilson and Wilson expects House to go to the conference with him. House says no to the conference until he finds out Cuddy is going. Wilson sits with one of his patients who is suffering through the end stage of cancer.

Jordan is being examined by Foreman and Chase. House says Jordon has Rhabdo after putting her through a drumming test and evaluating her arm strength. House tells Foreman and Chase Jordan is lying about what happened the night before, states her potassium levels are low and orders tests for Rhabdo. During the lab tests Chase admits to Foreman his marriage may be in trouble.

Jordan continues to stick by her story. Phoebe and Jordon finally admit they went to the concert because they are major fans of Keener, the creator of a comic book series who attended the concert and party. The girls followed Keener around the hotel spying on his activities. Foreman wonders if food is the problem. Cameron takes samples of the food the girls ate at the concert party. Cameron thinks bulimia might explain Jordan’s symptoms.

Wilson and House pick up Cuddy and her child on the way to the conference. Wilson is scheduled to give a talk at the conference and House wonders why Wilson did not ask for his advice by reading his paper as he has always done before. Jordan’s parents arrive at the hospital, it is clear her wealthy parents are usually off on business and rarely home with her. Jordan continues to lie about what happened at the hotel. Shortly after her parent’s arrival Jordan goes into cardiac arrest. The team calls House who believes Jordan’s condition is acute and not chronic, limiting her illness to toxins and infection.

Cameron meets with Keener at the hotel and asks what went on with the girls. Keener tells Cameron they followed him around the hotel but that was the extent of his contact with them. Jordan is bleeding into her brain affecting her thalamus. Foreman tells Phoebe because of the bleeding into her brain, whatever Jordan says to her or anyone else is a lie. Phoebe admits that Jordon left their hotel room during the night and she is not sure where she went.

The conference is holding an 80’s themed party. The doctors are dressed in costume; Cuddy dresses in a Flashdance 80’s style. House appears dressed in an 1780s costume complete with powdered wig. House and Cuddy slow dance to an 80’s tune. House admits to Cuddy even back in medical school he was interested in her. Cuddy leaves the party abruptly. Wilson asks Cuddy about the party the next day and Cuddy tells him she needs someone more stable than House in her life because she is a mother now.

Wilson gets a call telling him his cancer patient died. Wilson tells House about his conversation with Cuddy and suggests House offer to be more reliable by babysitting for Cuddy while she attends sessions. After House finds out Wilson’s paper is on euthanasia, he insists Wilson’s talk would be professional suicide and tells Wilson he must cancel his talk.

The team views the hotel security video, showing Jordan getting on the elevator with Keener. Cameron and Foreman confront Keener who continues to insist he had no contact with Jordan. Jordan begins bleeding from her kidneys and Cameron suspects Keener gave her drugs and seduced her. Cameron suggests using a truth serum on Jordan. Chase and Cameron clash over the treatment of Jordan and their personal problems.

House pours Wilson a laced fruit drink to keep him from making his talk at the conference. House goes to Cuddy’s hotel room to offer his babysitting services. As Cuddy makes an excuse House hears the baby cry and sees Lucas, the private detective House hired previously, holding the baby. House realizes Cuddy is dating Lucas and leaves.

Jordon tells the doctors and her parents Keener drugged and seduced her. From House’s advice on the case Foreman can tell Jordan is lying. The brain bleed gets worse as blood trickles from Jordan’s ear and Jordan is dying. The team tests Jordan for Rickettsia, a disease she may have caught from Keener’s dog.

House gives Wilson’s talk in his place since he’s already impersonating another doctor to gain entry to the conference. Wilson arrives groggy from the drugs and confronts House, who tells Wilson he should not feel guilty since did everything possible for his cancer patient. Wilson appreciates House’s support but not his methods.

House calls the team, telling them Jordan’s blood is what is killing her. Jordan has Hemochromatosis, eating fresh oysters at the restaurant caused Vibrio vulnificus, and the iron supplements she took for bulimia caused her internal bleeding. The team successfully treats Jordan with ceftazidime for the Vibrio and chelated for the Hemochromatosis. As Jordan begins to feel better she confesses to Cameron she wasn’t brave enough to knock on Keener’s door, leaving the journal at the door instead. Cameron realizes she was wrong about Keener.

House and Wilson sit awkwardly with Cuddy, Lucas and the baby at a restaurant to learn about their relationship. At home, Cameron asks Chase what is going on with him. Chase tells her he is not having an affair. Chase finally gets the courage to tell Cameron about his role in Dibala’s death.

House is tired of sleeping on the couch so Wilson suggests turning his office into a bedroom. House notices the office is a shrine to Amber. Chase is having flashbacks of Dibala’s death. The team take on Donny’s case. Cuddy wants to know when House will be ready to return to work. House stalls and Cuddy says he must complete 120 hours of rounds to have his license reinstated. House reluctantly agrees. Donny’s ex-girlfriend Cheryl shows up at the hospital to reveal to Donny that they have a young son she never told him about. She is fearful their son has the same hereditary disease Donny has. Donny is afraid to get close to his son because he does not want his son to experience the same pain he experienced when his dad died young.

House gets ready to go to sleep and starts hearing whispers as he lays in bed. He is afraid he may be experiencing auditory hallucinations even though he no longer abuses Vicodin.

House goes on rounds with the med students and causes havoc just because he can. House tells Chase to talk to his therapist so he can talk about Dibala, Chase declines. House and the team find nothing wrong with Donny so House creates a fake disease and gives Donny some meds, sending him home. House hears voices again in his room and panics, wondering if he really is incapable of being a doctor anymore. Foreman knocks on Wilson’s door to tell House that four hours after Donny left the hospital he collapsed and died. House is stunned as is the team. Foreman and House want to do the autopsy at Princeton Plainsboro so they can figure out why Donny died. Chase wakes early to tell Cameron he wants to drive two hours to tell Donny’s ex what happened face to face.

House gets his hearing checked and finds there is no problem with his hearing. He tells Cuddy he is not ready to come back to supervise the team. Foreman and House begin the autopsy on Donny. As Foreman use a cutting saw to cut into Donny’s chest Donny awakens and screams in pain. Foreman and House are horrified and jump back from the table. House tells the team to look beyond Donny’s heart for clues to his illness. Cameron visits Donny and tells him he was declared legally dead. Donny complains of extreme jaw pain to the nurse who says he has already reached the limit of pain medication. Donny finds a surgical tool in his room and pulls his tooth out to stop the pain. A dentist tells the team Donny’s tooth was fine and didn’t need to be pulled. House is absent so the team decides to look at the possibility of Donny having bone cancer.

House sleeps on the couch afraid of the whispering voices in his bedroom. He decides to confront his fears and visits the bedroom again and finds a vent. House checks Wilson’s room and finds the vent is connected. Wilson is talking out loud to Amber because he misses her. The next day House tells Wilson he is hallucinating then forces him to admit he is talking to Amber. House asks Wilson why he doesn’t talk to him instead. Wilson tells House talking to Amber makes him feel better while talking to House doesn’t.

Cameron asks Foreman what is going on with Chase, she thinks Foreman knows something. Foreman tells Cameron to talk to her spouse. House thinks Donny has a brain problem involving nerve damage. Chase treats Donny for neuropathy and Donny suddenly loses control of his bowels. Chase confronts his fear of killing Dibala and goes to confession. The priest tells Chase he must turn himself in to the police. Chase goes on a bender and Cameron confronts Chase about what is going on but he won’t tell her. House admits to Cuddy in a round about way that he has feelings for her after Cuddy signs off a freebie for his 120 hours of rounds. House suddenly realizes what is wrong with Donny, an intercranial aneurism that can be fixed through surgery. Donny and his son, who has the same problem, have surgery. Donny visits his son and finally agrees they should spend time together.

House is in bed that night and lies there peacefully. He begins to talk out loud to his father then yells at Wilson that it just doesn’t work. Wilson tells Amber he thinks House is getting better.
