Community Season 1 Episode 14: Romantic Expressionism
As Jeff and Britta walk across campus together they notice Vaughn is singing a song to Annie and they are flirting with each other. Jeff is freaked, thinking if Annie hooks up with Vaughn every creepy guy on campus is going to hit on her. Britta is surprised but generally ok with them dating. At study group Abed and Troy plan their next movie night, telling the gang they make fun of bad B movies while watching them. Shirley wants to join in and is invited while Pierce invites himself to movie night.
Annie pulls aside Britta and asks if she minds if she dates Britta’s ex Vaughn. Britta tells Annie she is fine with her dating Vaughn but really isn’t ok with the idea. Jeff and Britta meet at the cafeteria where Britta talks about Annie asking permission to date Vaughn. Jeff feels he and Britta should watch out for Annie since they are her “Greendale parents.”
Troy, Abed, Shirley and Pierce watch “Kickpuncher” together on movie night, with Senior Chang a last minute drop in. The rest of the gang jokes and laughs about the movie but Pierce doesn’t feel like he fits in. His lame movie jokes aren’t going over well.
Peter discovers his father-in-law never had a bachelor party and decides to throw him one. Mr. Pewterschmidt is hesitant to agree but finally gives in. Peter, Joe and Quagmire take Mr. Pewterschmidt to the local strip bar for a lap dance. Mr. Pewterschmidt is so shocked by the lap dance that he has a heart attack and falls into a coma. Lois, her mother and Peter sit by while Mr. Pewterschmidt is in the hospital and not responding to treatment. Even Dr. House (guest voice Hugh Laurie) cannot find a way to help bring Mr. Pewterschmidt out of his coma. Lois is given control over her father’s corporation and wonders how her father’s company will run without him. Peter talks Lois into letting him run the corporation while Mr. Pewterschmidt is in a coma. Peter begins to like the feeling of power and the many benefits he receives while running the company.
Quagmire is having a garage sale. Peter and the family buy some items from the sale. Peter buys an old Ham radio and spends weeks trying to get sound out of the radio, irritating Lois to no end. Stewie asks Brian if he will take him to Baby Gap because he wants to dress as a “baby douche”. Brian says he’ll do it another time. Stewie’s double appears and asks him a question. Brian asks who this is and Stewie tells him he cloned himself so he would have a helper. Stewie calls his cloned double “Bitch Stewie”. Stewie dumbed down Bitch Stewie so he would follow his orders. Brian is duly impressed.
Stewie is watching his favorite music star, Hannah Montana, on TV. Stewie finds out that Hannah Montana is singing at a concert in Quahog and decides he must attend. Stewie calls the number on the screen and finds out the tickets are sold out. Brian walks in and finds Stewie miserable. Brian comments on how lame the Hannah Montana show so Stewie finally confesses he’s crazy about her. Stewie starts crying, begging Brian to help him get into the concert. Brian agrees to help Stewie crash the concert.
Peter and Lois wake up in bed. Peter asks Lois if she needs the bathroom, distracts her by punching her in the face with his elbow then runs to beat her to the bathroom. Lois states she made a reservation for the bathroom with the MaĆ®tre d’ who then says she indeed did make a reservation for a poop. Peter goes to use the other bathroom and finds an elephant (their exchange student) using it. Peter goes to his neighbor Joe’s house to use the bathroom and finds his set up for wheelchair access is too complicated to use the bathroom so he runs into Cleveland’s house which is for sale.
